Solution to Puzzle 25

1. Nf6+ gf 2. Be6++ Kh8 3. Bxd5
The White knight delivers check and attacks the Black queen (fork). Because of the fork, Black has to take the White knight. Then White conducts the discovered plus double check combination forcing Black to lose his queen.

Solution to Puzzle 26

1. Rf8+ Rxf8 2. Bxd5 Qxd5 3. Qxd5
White moves 1. Rf8+, and Black has to take the White rook. Then by moving 2. Bxd5, White conducts the pin combination. As result of the pin combination, the Black queen is pinned and will be lost.
