1. Qxf6+ Kxf6 2. Ne4+ Ke5 3. Nxc5
A typical sacrifice combination on the knight fork. First, take the opponent knight with queen sacrifice to place the Black king under the knight fork. As a rule, such knight fork combinations are to be conducted with a piece sacrifice.

1. Qxe6 Qxe6 2. f8=N+ Kg8 3. Nxe6
Another typical combination on the knight fork but with different implementation. Sacrifice and place the Black queen under the knight fork from f8. Underpromote the f7 pawn to the knight! If you promote to the queen, it will be a draw.
